Artists and Lumberjacks - Perspectives No. 398
Artists and Lumberjacks
We hope everyone is healthy and safe during this extraordinary time. We are taking all sensible precautions here, and believe that the self-isolation guidelines are the best way to make sure that this plague will pass as quickly as possible. As Ann and I were discussing what social isolation would mean for us personally, we suddenly realized that it isn’t really much of a change from how we normally live! We require a certain amount of daily solitude in order to do our creative work, and since we live in the country, away from neighbors, our social interactions are limited anyway. Most of our supplies and other purchases are delivered directly to the house. If we want to see friends or for that matter, people, we have to get in a car and go somewhere else. So, our risk of exposure may be smaller.
