We’ve been told by students that our painting workshops in France and Italy have been amazing life experiences. That makes us very happy because that is exactly what we intend them to be. We work hard all year arranging everything we can so that each participant, painter and non-painter alike, is inspired by the beautiful surroundings, the friendly Provençal people, the delicious food, the interesting culture and art. To do that properly when we are there, requires that we get out and around each day to see the countryside and some of the many charming villages of Provence. Along the way, we stop to paint, of course, and our expert instruction is on tap for your creative needs. Then it’s off to lunch and probably some shopping nearby before we paint again each afternoon. If this sounds like a wonderful way to live, then you will want to join us October 6th-12th in lovely St. Rémy for our 2019 Provencal Painting Holiday.

If you’d like to read more about traveling and painting in Provence, enjoy our 4-part series -  An Artist’s Tour of Provence. It's filled with photos, paintings, maps and useful inside tips for traveling in Provence. We hope to see you there!
